‘Tis the season of giving

Why we’re grateful this year at Maple Street

As 2021 comes to a close, Maple Street is grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to give back throughout the year. We’re thankful to have empowered our more than 200 clients nationwide to thrive, so they in turn can help the local businesses and residents in their hometowns reach their goals.

Maple Street supports the local community during the holiday

We appreciate the many ways our clients give back to their communities, reaching out to those in need, whether or not they’re customers or members. And we’re grateful that we have the means to give back to our community.

This year, Maple Street was proud to donate $16,000 to local organizations we love and that are brightening our community each and every day.

The Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida

Maple Street’s very own office moral officer Shelby was adopted from this organization. We’re dog lovers and have a special place in our hearts for older golden retrievers. This organization does very good work, and during COVID, has unfortunately been overwhelmed with the number of goldens released by their owners. Maple Street’s donation will help the rescue find homes for older goldens and bring many of those suffering with health issues back to good health.

Second Harvest Food Bank

Maple Street gives regularly to this food bank, as the need is great and growing. Our donation will provide 40,000 meals to those in need. It feels good to know that many families will have wholesome meals this winter.

Save the Manatees

Supporting our local environment and Florida’s ecosystem is of paramount importance. Maple Street’s donation will help protect manatees and their aquatic habitat for future generations. And, they’re pretty darn cute. After all, who doesn’t love a manatee?

One Tree Planted

This organization makes it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Just one dollar plants a tree. With our donation, 500 trees will be planted where they’re needed most. Together we can restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity and make a positive social impact around the world.

Kids House of Seminole

This organization is a local advocacy center that provides hope and help for abused children and their families. Every year, the Maple Street team gathers together to make blankets for the children. This year we were proud to donate 35 cozy, handmade blankets.

As we celebrate this season of giving, we look back on the year and are reminded that we have had the privilege of giving back to others and the opportunity to support our clients as they help their communities. We look forward to what the new year brings and wish everyone a wonderful holiday season with their loved ones.
